At treatment initiation, the first dose of Zubsolv should be administered when objective signs of moderate opioid withdrawal appear, not less than six hours after the patient last used opioids, to avoid precipitating an opioid withdrawal syndrome.

What is Zubsolv used for?

Zubsolv is used to treat narcotic (opiate) addiction. Zubsolv is not to be used as a pain relieving medicine. Zubsolv can slow or stop your breathing, and may be habit-forming. MISUSE OF ZUBSOLV CAN CAUSE ADDICTION, OVERDOSE, OR DEATH, especially in a child or other person using the medicine without a prescription.

What are the side effects of Zubsolv?

Dizziness or severe drowsiness can cause falls, accidents, or severe injuries. Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction to Zubsolv: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Like other narcotic medicines, Zubsolv can slow your breathing. Death may occur if breathing becomes too weak.
